Report: Sixers Intrigued By Malcolm Brogdon-Joel Embiid Pairing

There were recent rumblings that the Sixers had interest in Caris LeVert as part of a potential Ben Simmons package, though he’s not the only Pacers guard that the team has its eye on.

According to NBA Insider Jordan Schultz, Philly has also inquired about Malcolm Brogdon.

In addition to Caris LeVert, sources say the #Sixers have also inquired about Malcolm Brodgon – citing his high-level two-way game and capacity to play both guard positions as a plus alongside Joel Embiid. One more note: The #Pacers control all of their draft picks as well.

The Timberwolves are not open to trading either Anthony Edwards or Karl-Anthony Towns in a deal for Simmons, Darren Wolfson of KSTP-TV explains. Minnesota will likely need to find a third team  in order to pull off a Simmons deal.
