Evan Mobley will be out two to four weeks with a right elbow sprain, according to the Cavaliers.
Mobley left Monday night’s game against the Celtics due to the injury in the third quarter and did not return.
Mobley has caught lots of attention early on in his career, with many thinking he could be the best player in his draft class.
Mobley has been highly touted for his defensive switchability and his ability to score inside the paint and in the mid-range.
He has also shown promise with his ability to shoot the ball from three, but he still needs to improve in that area to be considered a threat from there, but that can come in due time.
The Cavs will rely on Jarrett Allen even more now for scoring inside the paint and rim protection, but should be getting more frontcourt help soon once Lauri Markkanen returns to action.
