Let’s take a look at three notes ahead of the contest:
- Corey Kispert is getting the start at the three for the Wizards on Tuesday night with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (dental procedure) out. Coach Wes Unseld told FortyEightMinutes and other media via zoom that Kispert had an impressive camp and it’s part of the reason he’s getting the nod.
- KCP could be back with the team as early as late tonight and the wing is not in danger of missing the team’s next preseason game (Saturday vs. Milwaukee), per Unseld.
- Deni Avdija is not playing tonight, though is he participating in 5-on-5 drills and should be in the mix to play on Saturday.
- The matchup between Jalen Green and Bradley Beal is one to watch. Entering the 2021 draft, some believed that parts of Green’s game resembled Beal’s.
