Nets, Paul Millsap Agree to Deal

The super team in Brooklyn continues to get stronger as Paul Millsap will sign with the Nets (via Sham Charania of The Athletic).

Millsap, who had been the top remaining free agent on FortyEightMinutes’ board, was drawing interest from several teams, including the Sixers. The Warriors, Hawks, Pelicans and Timberwolves were all also linked to the 36-year-old.

The power forward had been rumored to have wanted a role on a championship contender and there was some talk that he’d consider waiting until later in the season to sign. However, that won’t be the case with the veteran inking a deal with Brooklyn.
