There has been speculation over the past few years about what LeBron James would do following the 2022-2023 season. Would James sign a contract extension? LeBron James is signing a 2 year, $97.1 million dollar contract extension to remain with the Lakers. For the 2024-2025 season, James will have a player option for that season.
