Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are producing a new documentary on the 2008 U.S. Men’s Basketball Team that won the Gold Medal in 2008.
The documentary, titled “The Redeem Team,” will include interviews with coach Mike Krzyzewski, one-on-ones with several former players, and behind-the-scenes footage that hasn’t yet been publically showcased.
It will be released on October 7 on Netflix, according to ESPN.
“The Redeem Team” is directed by Jon Weinbach, a producer on Netflix’s 2020 documentary series on Michael Jordan’s final season with the Chicago Bulls, “The Last Dance.”
