The Wizards are among the teams pursuing a trade for Donovan Mitchell, according to a report from The Athletic. It’s unclear what Washington is offering for the 25-year-old.
Washington is not alone in its pursuit, as the Knicks and Jazz have picked up conversations around Mitchell. The two sides began conversations earlier this summer.
Utah reportedly is looking for a package that includes multiple first-round picks and New York has eight future first-rounder available to trade.
The Hornets are also in the mix, per The Athletic. No word on what Charlotte would surrounder in a trade, though our best speculation is Gordon Hayward and multiple first-rounders would have to be included.
