The Miami Heat fall to 14-12 on the season as they fall to the Toronto Raptors, 106-96 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The Heat also falls to 10-4 at home so far. Coming into the two teams virtually had the same record. The Raptors were 15-11, and the Heat were 14-11. With the win the the Raptors move to third in the East and a full game and a half ahead of the Heat. The Heat fall to ninth in the East with the loss. The Eastern Conference is tight right now and will most likely be this way much of the season.
Bam Adebayo and Norman Powell were the two bright spots for the Heat. Adebayo scored 20 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out two assists, and recorded a steal. Norman Powell scored 20 points, grabbed three rebounds, and dished out four assists.
Brandon Ingram led the way for the Toronto Raptors in their 106-96 win. Ingram notched 28 points on 9-for-19 shooting. He knocked down 5-for-7 from the three-point line. He also grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists. Ingram gave the Heat fits all night.

- Tyler Herro missed the contest due to toe irritation. He is still day-to-day.
- Nikola Jovic sustained an elbow injury on a dunk attempt in the first quarter. His status and how long he will be out are TBD.
