Top 48 Unsigned NBA Free Agents After 2022 Offseason

The NBA offseason was filled with players moving to new cities or signing new contracts with their current clubs, though many talented NBA players still remain available on the market.

Let’s take a look at the top 48 NBA players remaining on the free agent pool as August winds down.

1. Miles Bridges

  • Bridges is a restricted free agent and while his talent on a basketball court is not in question, off-the-court issues may be responsible for the 24-year-old remaining on the market. According to ESPN, Bridges pleaded not guilty to three felony domestic violence charges in late July.

2. Collin Sexton

  • Sexton is a restricted free agent as well and there is certainly a market for his services. However, it appears that there may be a gap between what he is seeking in a new contract and what teams are prepared to offer him. The Cavaliers continue to be linked to Sexton, though nothing new has been reported for a few weeks now.

3. LaMarcus Aldridge

  • Some lists may have Aldridge lower, but the big man proved last season that he can still be a contributor for a playoff team. The 37-year-old should find an opportunity if he wants one this upcoming season. He was linked to Miami prior to his latest stint with Brooklyn.

4. Dennis Schroder

  • This is the part of the list where you can make a lot of different arguments. Schroder has struggled since his stint with the Lakers, though the 2013 No. 17 overall pick is just 28-year-olds and only two seasons removed from posting a 16.7 PER with the Thunder. According to Marc Stein, the Lakers have internally talked about signing Schroder prior to the upcoming season.

5. Montrezl Harrell

  • Harrell started last season with the Wizards and showcased his efficiency (23.9 PER, 64.5% from the field) before being traded to the Hornets. Harrell will turn 29 during the upcoming NBA season.
