The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Phoenix Suns 106-103 to move on to the Semifinals of the NBA’s In-Season Tournament. The Lakers will face the New Orleans Pelicans in the Semifinals of the In-Season Tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, 12/7.
Anthony Davis scored 27 points on 10-for-26 from the field. Davis knocked down 7-for-8 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed 15 rebounds, dished out an assist, and recorded two blocks. Davis spoke postgame about the intensity of the In-Season Tournament games and the win over the Suns.
“You’ve got some of the most alpha male competitors in the world, and if you give us an opportunity to play for something meaningful or an incentive, then you get what you’re getting,” said James, who also racked up 11 assists, eight rebounds and five steals. “The In-Season Tournament is what it is, and we have an opportunity to play on a big stage, be on national television, represent our families, our communities, where we come from.”
LeBron James scored 31 points on 12-for-25 shooting. James knocked down 2-for-4 from the three-point line. James knocked down 5-for-6 from the free-throw line. James also grabbed eight rebounds, dished out 11 assists, and recorded five steals.
