The Heat have now improved to 3-5 overall on the season. This may not be the start they wanted. However, this game could be the catalyst that propels the Heat to a winning streak. The Miami Heat defeated the defending NBA Champion Golden State in Miami. They defeated the Warriors 116-109. An interesting stat that stuck out for the Heat is they shot 20 for 20 from the free-throw line. That is tied for the second most in team history. Their record is when the Heat made 30 for 30 from the free-throw line in 1993 against the Boston Celtics.
