The Sixers have lost their first two games against the Heat without Joel Embiid in the lineup and it sounds like the MVP candidate may not be back for Game 3 on Friday.
“He’s got so many steps to go through. I don’t think he’s cleared any of them right now,” Rivers told the media in Miami. “We’ll just have to wait and see.”
TNT’s Chris Haynes indicated that Embiid, who is recovering from an orbital fracture, couldn’t look at his cell phone screen without irritating his face.
This was a great piece of reporting by @ChrisBHaynes at the Sixers game. Says Joel Embiid could not even look at the screen of his cell phone without it irritating him as of Tuesday. pic.twitter.com/2s7sp1BUsm
