The Miami Heat earned their 34th victory of the season after defeating the Charlotte Hornets, 104-86. The Heat is now 34-20 overall and is tied with the Chicago Bulls for first place in the NBA’s Eastern Conference. The Heat got a balanced three-man offensive attack from Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro. Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra spoke postgame about the Heat’s effort.

“Guys didn’t really care necessarily who was shooting as long as the guy was open,” Spoelstra said. “They were working together to move the bodies and the ball to find that open guy. That was inspiring to see.”

Jimmy Butler scored 27 points on 10-for-13 shooting from the field. Butler also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists. Bam Adebayo scored 20 points on 7-for-21 shooting from the field. Adebayo also grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out three assists. Tyler Herro scored 19 points off the bench on 7-for-13 shooting. Herro shot 5-for-8 from three. Herro also grabbed four rebounds and dished out two assists.
