The Miami Heat earned their 29th victory in Cleveland, Ohio against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Heat defeated the Cavaliers 100-97 to improve to 29-23 on the season. The Heat now has a 12-14 record on the road. The game was up and down for the Heat as many games have been all season. The Heat had another game come down to the wire that they won. Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra spoke on the Heat’s late-game performance postgame.
“When it gets to the last three of four minutes, because of the experiences we’ve had, guys feel comfortable enough to execute under that kind of pressure,” Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said.
Jimmy Butler scored 23 points on 6-for-16 shooting. Butler hit 1-for-4 from the three-point line. Butler hit 10-for-15 from the free-throw line. Butler grabbed a rebound, dished out five assists, and recorded three steals.
