Bradley Beal has seemingly improved every year since coming into the league and it’s a result of his offseason work. The All-Star previously spoke about how expanding his range was a goal of his heading into the season and h reiterated the desire to add that component to his game during a media session with FortyEightMinutes and other reporters on Monday.
“I’m still trying to figure out my spots and when to do and when I have those opportunities on the floor,” Beal said “I kind of have to seek them out a little more than I have.”
Beal shot 6.2 triples per game last season, a figure that was only behind Davis Bertans (7.5). He made 34.9 percent of those looks, however.
Washington made several moves this offseason with a focus on increasing efficiency, including adding additional playmakers such as Spencer Dinwiddie and Aaron Holiday.
“It feels really good knowing we have guys who can create,” Beal added. “…being able to have that type of confidence and ability in your teammates and guys who can make plays is good.”
