Window for NBA teams to start making trades opens Monday

After a week of endless buzz, the time for NBA trades has arrived.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the moratorium on deals will be lifted Monday at noon EST — or two days before the draft.

Free agency is scheduled to begin Friday, with players and teams able to officially consummate deals Nov. 22. Training camps are scheduled to start Dec. 1, ahead of a Dec. 22 tipoff to the season.

Meanwhile, the salary cap will remain the same as last season, per Wojnarowski. So that means a $109.1 million cap and $132.6 million luxury tax for 2020-21.

Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook, Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie and Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon are among the hottest name on the rumor mill. Westbrook reportedly has requested a trade.

Power forward Kevin Love is the main name to watch when it comes to the Cavaliers. You may want to keep a close eye on center Andre Drummond, too.

Now, we will finally get to see who can actually pull off a deal.
