ORLANDO — Before Friday, the Orlando Magic had lost 12 out of 14 games. Things just weren’t clicking on either end.
In this game, however, the Magic looked more alive, playing with a sense of urgency in pulling out a 123-119 over the Bulls.
Nikola Vucevic played like a man possessed, scoring a career-high 43 points on 17-of-29 shooting. He also grabbed 19 rebounds and dished out four assists.
Another impressive statistic for Vucevic was that he knocked down four out of 10 from 3-point range. Vucevic spoke on how much this performance means to him.
“It felt great to have a career-high in a win because the last one was a loss,” Vucevic said. “It’s much better when you win because you can enjoy these things more when you win. I’m most happy about the win because I thought we had a great effort from the beginning.”
