We made it to Friday, and while the NFL Playoffs promise some interesting and entertaining matchups, here are the Top Five NBA League Pass games you might want to keep an eye on.

1) Chicago Bulls at Oklahoma City Thunder – Friday 1/15/2021 at 8pm EST. I know what you’re thinking… the national networks took the best games of the weekend and I’m left with slim pickings. Normally, I might agree, but this game features an exciting matchup between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Zach LaVine. Sure, this game goes head-to-head with the Mavericks and Bucks, but this has a chance to be a better game.
The Debut of the new Big Three?
2) Orlando Magic at Brooklyn Nets – Saturday 1/16/2021 at 6pm EST. So many storylines make this the top game of the weekend. This should be the reunion of Kevin Durant and James Harden, but will Kyrie Irving be on the court with them? As a bonus, you can start charting how many wide-open shots that Joe Harris would’ve had, if only someone passed him the ball.

3) Atlanta Haws at Portland Trail Blazers – Saturday 1/16/2021 at 10pm EST. If you can stay up, you should, because this game features three of top 15 scorers this season. Trae Young has continued his spectacular play from his first two seasons, while CJ McCollum is making an early case for MVP. Combined McCollum and his running mate Damian Lillard, are averaging nearly 56 ppg this season. Who wins? You! That’s who.
Luka Doncic vs. Coby White’s Horrific Defense
4) Chicago Bulls at Dallas Mavericks – Sunday 1/17/2021 at 3pm EST. If you play one of those one day fantasy leagues make sure that you have Luka starting on Sunday. Coby White has been one of the worst defensive players in the NBA and Luka is one of the leagues best players. If Luka doesn’t score 30, it’s because he feels bad for White. This game should be fun to watch and with Kristaps Porzingis coming back there are plenty of stars to watch.
Zion Williamson vs. Marvin Bagley III
5) New Orleans Pelicans at Sacramento Kings – Sunday 1/17/2021 at 9pm EST. While Marvin Bagley’s Dad is working overtime on Twitter trying to get him traded, if he continues to be unsuccessful then an intriguing matchup should take place. As the #1 pick of the 2019-20 draft faces off against the #2 pick of the 2018-19 draft. If this isn’t enough, Brandon Ingram is always there and he is worth a watch. The Pelicans play the Lakers on Friday night, but that’s on ESPN and we don’t talk about non-league pass games here.
There are plenty of amazing games to watch this Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. Enjoy the games and if you have a day off, take a moment to think about the man it honors.
