All signs point toward the Knicks signing Jalen Brunson once free agency opens, though that might not be all that the franchise has in store.
Dejounte Murray remains available in trades and Ian Begley of SNY.tv hears that rival teams see Murray and Brunson as a nice pairing in the backcourt.
"Teams do not think Jalen Brunson is the last move for the Knicks. Opposing teams see Brunson and Dejounte Murray as an attractive fit in the backcourt." 👀👀👀

There were rumblings that the Spurs had lined up a deal with the Hawks, one that sent them multiple first-rounders in addition to Danilo Gallinari. However, there haven’t any reports about a deal being finalized.
San Antonio is said to be open to moving on from Murray but would want a Jrue Holiday–type package. The Knicks have multiple future first-rounders available, including four 2023 first-rounders, though picks from Dallas (1-10), Washington (1-14), and Detroit (1-18) have various protections.
