Wojnarowski adds that other teams will make attempts to contact Wall about playing for them, though the point guard is expected to remain on course to sign with Los Angeles
Wall, who came in at No. 12 on our top 48 free agents list, had been linked to the Clippers dating back to last summer.
The former Wizard gave up nearly $7 million of his projected $47 million salary as part of his buyout agreement with the Rockets. That amount roughly equates to the maximum value for the taxpayer mid-level exception, which appears to be what his deal with the Clippers will be for.
Wall will end his Rockets tenure having played in just 40 games for the franchise. During those contests, he averaged 20.6 points and 6.9 assists per game while sporting a PER of 15.4
