Odds & Ends: Lakers-Bucks, Wiseman, Curry, DFS

Milwaukee hasn’t played since Monday when they lost to the Nets (sans Kyrie Irving). They had a chance in that contest, being a missed Khris Middleton three away from stealing the victory, and should be right in the one tonight against the Lakers, as the franchise is favored (-1.5).

Until this contest, the Lakers have been listed as the favorite in every game they played this season. Since Anthony Davis joined Los Angeles, the team is 7-2 against the spread in games where both he and LeBron James played, per Joe Dellera of the Action Network.

Both LBJ (ankle) and Davis (ankle) carry injury designations into the contest, though both are expected to suit up.

More NBA Odds & Ends

  • Spencer Limbach of Rotoworld identifies James Wiseman as a great DFS play based on salary cost. Wiseman is $4,500 on DraftKings, making for an affordable option with top upside.

  • Stephen Curry is one of the best plays tonight in the shallow three-game slate, Limbach notes in the same piece. Curry has tallied at least 46 fantasy points in two of his last three games.

  • Zion Williamson posted 44 fantasy points against the Jazz on Tuesday and as we previously mentioned, Utah has presented a tough matchup for opposing fours this season. Still, Zion has the ability to overcome such potential problems.
