The Chicago Bulls take on the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 of their first-round series on Wednesday night and they will be without several key contributors.
Zach LaVine (COVID protocols) and Alex Caruso (concussion protocols) have been ruled out for the contest. Of course, the Bulls are already without Lonzo Ball, meaning they will have to rely on younger, unproven players in their pivotal, potentially series-ending contest. Ayo Dosunmu, Coby White, and Javonte Green are all candidates to suit up.
Chicago is listed as a 9.5 underdog for Wednesday night’s tilt (via PointsBet).
More NBA Injury Notes
- Khris Middleton (MCL) and George Hill (abdominal strain) are both listed as questionable for the contest. Milwaukee won both Game 3 and Game 4 without the pair of veterans.
- Jimmy Butler missed the Heat’s series-clinching win over the Hawks with knee irritation and coach Erik Spoelstra indicated that Butler woke up with soreness in each of the two days after his monster Game 4 performance. There are no tests scheduled for Butler with the Heat listing him as “day-to-day.” It sounds like the 32-year-old will be ready for Miami’s second-round series next week (against the winner of the Sixers-Raptors matchup).
