Let’s take a look at some injury notes from around the NBA heading into the first weekend of the playoffs:
Luka Doncic won’t play in Game 1 vs. the Jazz and there’s concern that he won’t be available for Game 2. Our own Landon Buford recently spoke with a former NBA medical trainer Marco Nunez about Doncic’s calf injury and Nunez explained how the type of injury Doncic suffered could keep a player out as few as seven days but also for as long as six weeks.
Stephen Curry will suit up in Game 1 of the Warriors’ series with the Nuggets. Andrew Wiggins, who missed the clubs’ regular-season finale, will also be available.
There’s initial optimism that Clint Capela‘s knee injury is not serious, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reports. Capela left the Hawks-Cavs play-in game on Friday night because of the injury.
