There was complete pandemonium in Miami when the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Miami Heat. Jimmy Butler returned to Miami since his now-infamous trade situation. Butler and the Warriors now hold a 16-5 record since he has been a team member. However, the Miami Heat took satisfaction in giving the Warriors their fifth loss since Butler arrived. The Heat blew the Warriors, 112-86. The Warriors now sit in sixth place in the West with a 41-31 record overall. The Miami Heat improved to 31-41 overall. If the season ended today, the Miami Heat would be in tenth place in the East. That is good for the final Play-In spot.
Bam Adebayo led the way for the Miami Heat, scoring 27 points on 9-for-18 shooting. Adebayo has been improving his three-point range and shot 2-for-3 from the three-point line against the Warriors. Adebayo knocked down 7-for-9 from the free-throw line. Adebayo also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out an assist. Adebayo also blocked a shot and recorded a steal. Adebayo set the tone for the Heat, and his leadership pushed the Heat to victory.
Tyler Herro scored 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting. Herro knocked down a perfect 4-for-4 from the three-point line. Herro knocked down 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. Herro also grabbed three rebounds and dished out seven assists.
