The Magic have officially signed Chasson Randle to a two-way contract, the team announces.
Randle most recently played for the Warriors last year, as he was on a 10-day deal with Golden State before the NBA suspended its season. He has previously played for the Sixers, Knicks, and Wizards, in addition to the Warriors, appearing in 78 games since coming into the league back in 2017.
To accommodate the move, Orlando waived guard Frank Mason, who’s been nursing a shoulder strain.

- Bradley Beal faced off against John Wall for the first time in Washington D.C. “I’m definitely looking forward to competing against him the rest of my career, as crazy as that may sound,” Beal said. The Wizards got the victory in Wall’s homecoming, 131-119.

- Knicks rookie Obi Toppin has played a lot better lately and he credits Derrick Rose‘s arrival. “The pace that Derrick plays at, I love that pace,” Toppin said (via Marc Berman of the New York Post). “We played at that pace all year when I was at Dayton, just running up and down. I feel like when we get the ball out in transition, it’s hard to stop us.”
