The Warriors will work out Isaiah Thomas this week and Marc J. Spears of ESPN’s The Undefeated hears that the teams’ interest is sincere.
Thomas hasn’t been the same since a hip injury derailed his career, though the veteran reiterated to Spears that he is “fully healthy” and “can do everything” that he used to do on the basketball court.
Thomas added that he feels physically better than he did pre-injury. The 5-foot-9 point guard also noted that he’s dunking the basketball again.
Golden State has a roster spot available, though there were rumblings that they could continue to keep it open and add a player later in the season (such as Marc Gasol).
