The Sixers did not win the James Harden sweepstakes with the Nets pulling off a blockbuster deal for the former MVP.
Reports indicated that Philadelphia had Ben Simmons on the table in trade talks with the Rockets and the Sixers star was “pretty ecstatic” that he wasn’t sent to Houston in the deal, Marc J. Spears of ESPN relays.
Simmons believes that the franchise has enough talent to bring Philadelphia a title and coach Doc Rivers echos that sentiment and believes Simmons’ best is still in front of him.
