The Cavaliers have had trade talks with the Hawks about trading for Cam Reddish, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com hears.
Cleveland is prioritizing a wing who can join the rotation as they look to make their next move. Reddish has been on the block for Atlanta dating back to last year’s trade deadline, though the 2019 No. 10 overall pick is just 21 years old and is a candidate to thrive with a change of scenery.
It’s unclear how serious talks are, though Fedor notes that Cleveland isn’t willing to offer up a first-round pick as they participate in trade talks with teams around the league.

Redick has no plans to sign a new contract before training camps begin around the league. “You know, I would say, pretty much definitively, like, I won’t be in a training camp to start the season,” Redick said (via his podcast The Old Man And The Three). “That’s not gonna happen. So, you know, I’ll join a team at some point this season and finish the year and try to go get a chip. That’s the plan.”
