The Rockets and Wizards have discussed a trade centered on guards Russell Westbrook and John Wall, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
No major traction has been made in the talks, Charania added.
Westbrook has been seeking a trade from the Rockets after one season. There’s no telling if it will actually happen. Opposing teams have been hesitant given his age (32) and large contract.
Wall has missed the previous year and a half following Achilles surgery.
Per Charania, the Rockets are so far “seeking more assets” than what the Wizards are willing to provide.
