PHILADELPHIA — Ben Simmons didn’t suit up for the Sixers in their first game of the season in New Orleans, serving a one-game suspension that stemmed from his attitude in practice.
The All-Star won’t suit up for the team’s second game (the home opener against Brooklyn) and it’s unclear how long he’ll remain out for, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Sixers didn’t have practice on Thursday but Ben Simmons briefly showed up to the team’s facility to report for individual workouts. Simmons left without working out, reportedly speaking with members of the Sixers’ medical staff before getting treated for back tightness.
