Magic Notes: Orlando falls to OKC despite Vucevic, Ross

The Orlando Magic lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday 108-99 at the Amway Center, and have now lost two straight and have a 4-2 record. There is no need to panic as of yet. However, there is a desire to right the ship and get in the win column their next game.

They lost to a Oklahoma City team who had lost three straight games prior to Saturday. There is a long season ahead so again, no need to panic as of yet in Orlando. But in a mission to change the culture into a winning one, there is a need to eliminate mistakes and get back in the win column.

More From Orlando

  • OKC was able to get a balanced scoring output by multiple players. Second-year man Darius Bazley led the way with 19 points. George Hill scored 18 points, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 16 and Al Horford had 12.
  • The Magic had some players that played extremely well. Unfortunately they came up a little short against OKC Saturday night. Nikola Vucevic scored 30 points on 13-of-21 shooting. Terrence Ross tallied 26 points off the bench and is averaging 22 on the season. Unfortunately, the Magic still lost.
  • The Magic look to get back in the win column against the 4-2 Cleveland Cavaliers. The back-to-back matchups happen Monday and Wednesday and will both be held at the Amway Center.
