The Sacramento Kings could very well move point guard Cory Joseph prior to the trade deadline, as relayed by Sam Amick and Jason Jones of The Athletic.
Joseph signed a three-year deal worth $37 million with the Kings in 2019. But just $2.4 million of that salary is guaranteed next season. So opposing teams looking for veteran backcourt depth, and perhaps to dump some salary next season, may be willing to take a flyer on Joseph.
Of course, the Kings could very well hang on to him for those very reasons.
Joseph, 29, is averaging 6.4 points and 2.4 assists on the season.
As relayed by our own Chris Crouse, the Kings are also looking to move center Marvin Bagley, but so far are having no luck.
The NBA trade deadline is March 25.
