The Miami Heat now hold a 19-18 record after defeating the Orlando Magic, 111-103. The Heat have been on a roll lately. They started this season slowly. Mostly due to injuries to key players on their roster.

As the team gets back towards full strength the wins are coming. The Heat have now won eight out of their last nine games. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra spoke about what it means to the Heat and himself now that they are over .500.

“It’s been an objective of ours for several weeks,” Spoelstra said. “A small hurdle. It was something that we wanted to do.”

The Heat started this season with an 0-6 record. However, they never panicked. They maintained their style of play and just wanted to get healthy. Now they look to get Bam Adebayo back and Avery Bradley. They both missed Thursday’s game with injuries.

The Heat is looking to continue their winning ways now that they have reached a winning record through 37 games this season. With the right focus and following Spoelstra’s lead, look for the Heat to continue their winning ways. It looks like the team has hit its stride.
