Dennis Schroder to miss time while in league’s health and safety protocols

Lakers guard Dennis Schroder drives to the basket vs. the Suns.

The Lakers will be without Dennis Schroder against the Raptors on Sunday and likely longer, as the guard has entered the league’s health and safety protocols (via Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated).

It’s unclear exactly how long Schroder will miss, though, after Sunday’s contest, the team has just eight games remaining.

Los Angeles just welcomed back LeBron James from a lengthy absence and the franchise hasn’t really had time to acclimate all of its new parts together. We’ll see if the lack of court-time together for the members of the Lakers’ projected playoff rotation ends up hindering their chemistry and chances to repeat.
