Bradley Beal has entered the health and safety protocols at Team USA camp, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Charania adds that his playing status is currently up in the air.
Beal recently spoke about his level of excitement to be suiting up for his country, hoping he could learn from the other great players he’d be playing with and legendary coach Gregg Popovich.
Beal also hoped to use this as an opportunity to continue to improve his game, particularly with shooting the ball.
With the games starting in nine days, we will have to see if Beal could be cleared in time to head into Tokyo with the rest of the group.
