Davion Mitchell is among the players who saw the biggest rise with his recent NCAA tournament run, Kyle Boone of CBS Sports writes. The 6’2″ guard, who was among the key members of Baylor’s championship run, finds himself No. 6 on the CBS Sports’ Big Board after being ranked outside the top-15.
There appears to be a consensus top-5 among draft evaluators. Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State), Jalen Suggs (Gonzaga), Jalen Green (G League), Evan Mobley (USC), and Jonathan Kuminga (G League) make up the first five prospects on most of the prominent lists, however, beyond that is where the draft gets really interesting.
Mitchell, who ranks eighth on ESPN’s Big Board, has a chance to go as high as No. 6 or perhaps even higher, depending on how the draft lottery shakes out.

- Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report has Tennessee’s Keon Johnson heading to the Wizards at No. 6 in his latest mock draft, writing that scouts will “look past” the wing’s “limited production and three-point shooting.” The 19-year-old will need time to develop, a luxury the Wizards may not have given the timeline of Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook. Yet, if Washington anticipates a rebuild sooner than later, Johnson might be the right high upside pick.
