The Orlando Magic were able to get a big win over the Brooklyn Nets, 121-113. The game was played at The Amway Center in Orlando. The Magic were on the second half of a back-to-back. They lost a heartbreaker to the New York Knicks the night before, 94-93.
Despite the loss, the Magic knew they were turning things around. The win against the Nets is a step in the right direction. They have now broken their 9 game losing streak. Despite that recent losing streak, the Magic sit just 6 games out of the 8th and final Eastern Conference Playoff spot. Evan Fournier spoke on the team’s determination to get back in the win column.

The Magic got strong contributions from three of their best players. Aaron Gordon was on BEASTMODE against the Nets. Gordon scored 38 points on 14 of 20 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 8 assists. Evan Fournier scored 31 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists. The big man in the middle Nikola Vucevic scored 22 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists.
The Magic showed some serious potential against the Nets. This season the Magic have been ravaged by injuries. They are starting to get healthy and last night’s win was a glimpse at their potential. The squad looks to continue their winning ways against the Boston Celtics in Boston on 3/21.
