The Cleveland Cavaliers are signing rookie shooting guard Brodric Thomas to a two-way contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Cavs will waive second-year center Marques Bolden to make room for Thomas.
Thomas, 24, is 6-foot-5 and went undrafted out of Division II Truman State (Mo.) University. He was recently waived by the Houston Rockets, where he was also on a two-way deal.
Thomas has since been playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the G League’s Disney bubble alongside former Cavs shooting guard Kevin Porter Jr.
Thomas signed with the Vipers on Feb. 14. He appeared in four games with the Rockets and averaged 2.5 points.
