The Brooklyn Nets have waived shooting guard Jordan Bowden and forward Nate Sestina to trim the roster to 18 players.
Bowden is 6-foot-5 and went undrafted out of Tennessee. He signed an Exhibit 10 deal on Dec. 1.
Sestina is 6-9 and went undrafted out Kentucky, also signing Dec. 1.
Both Bowden and Sestina are considered candidates to join the Long Island Nets of the G League.
The Nets open the preseason Sunday vs. the Washington Wizards.
