The Nets made a pair of trades on Tuesday night.
Sekou Doumbouya (and his $3,613,680 salary) was sent to Houston along with an unprotected 2024 second-round pick in exchange for cash considerations ($110K), as Tim MacMahon of ESPN tweets. Houston subsequently waived the former first-round pick.
In the second move, the Pacers sent Edmond Sumner and a 2025 second-round pick to the Nets (and the Brooklyn subsequently waived the guard). Brooklyn received draft rights to Juan Pablo Vaulet from Brooklyn (via Michael Scotto of HoopsHype).

The Pacers are signing Brad Wanamaker to contract for training camp, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Wanamaker spent last season with the Warriors.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly still nursing a knee injury stemming from last year’s NBA playoffs. The former MVP suffered a hyperextended left knee injury during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
