The Lakers have now improved to 7-5 overall on the season, after defeating the Miami Heat in overtime by a score of 120-117.
Davis is Key to Lakers’ Win
Anthony Davis scored 24 points on 10-of-23 shooting. He also grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out four assists. Davis spoke on the team’s turnaround the past two games. Also, their mindset since they lost at Portland two games ago.
“After that Portland loss, we took that personally,” Davis said. “These last two games have definitely been fun. Guys are starting to realize how good of a team we are, and we just have to take that mindset to the floor.”
Russell Westbrook recorded his third triple-double of the season against the Heat. Westbrook scored 25 points on 10 of 22 shooting from the field. Westbrook also knocked down three out of seven from the three-point line. Westbrook also grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out 14 assists.
