Despite the Golden State Warriors not resembling the same team that won three championships over a four-season span these last couple of years, Stephen Curry says that he still wants to finish out his career in the Bay Area.
“It’s always been a priority,” Curry said via ESPN. “When you look at guys like Dirk (Nowitzki), Kob(e Bryant) that I played against and have heard them talk about what that’s meant, they don’t speak on it lightly. There’s a reverence for that club. You never know what could happen, obviously, but I’ve felt that’s always been something that would mean so much to me.”
“And you want to stay competitive. You want to stay in that fight where you’re winning championships. If I can accomplish both, that’s the ultimate goal.”
Curry will become an unrestricted free agent in 2022, barring an extension. The Warriors will still likely need to make a couple of moves to keep their franchise player happy, as the 33-year-old would probably still want to compete for at least one more championship.

- Charles Oakley told Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis about six years ago that he wasn’t a 3-point shooter, but lauded him for his killer mid-range game, athleticism, and ability to play both ends of the court. Oakley called him “the best thing since sliced cheese” (think he meant sliced bread). Davis plays to his strengths very well, but in the modern NBA, if you’re a big that can capably knock down the 3-pointer, then you gotta let it fly.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson opened up to Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times about how he started to fall in love with the game of basketball again. Jackson appears to be rejuvenated in Los Angeles, as he’s averaging 10.5 points and 3.2 assists in 22.8 minutes per game. This article was well worth the read.
