Juan Toscano-Anderson will receive a two-year contract from the Warriors that is worth more than the prorated minimum this season and includes a fully guaranteed minimum salary for next, per Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
In addition to converting Toscano-Anderson’s two-way contract to a standard deal, the Warriors are bringing back center/forward Jordan Bell, who will receive the available two-way slot. Bell is expected to be available for Friday’s game, Slater added.
Toscano-Anderson, 28, is 6-foot-6 and his hustling play has made him a key part of the Warriors’ rotation. He is currently compiling averages of 5.5 points and 4.4 rebounds, while shooting a sizzling 58.5 percent from the field.
Bell’s career started with Warriors, but he has bounced around the league since then, including runs with the Timberwolves and Grizzlies, and a couple of stints with the Wizards. He also was in training camp with the Cavaliers.
Bell is in his fourth NBA season, making it the last season in which he’s eligible for a two-way deal.
