Much has happened in free agency this year (and you can find all the signings on our 2021 Free Agency Tracker). Yet, even with the fireworks dying down and training camp rosters getting filled, there are a bevy of players remaining on the market.
Lauri Markkanen had been the top remaining player for the past few weeks, though the restricted free agent agreed to a sign-and-trade that sent him to Cleveland.
With Markkanen off the board, Paul Millsap seems to be the most coveted free agent available. He’s drawing interest from the Nets and Sixers among other teams and the veteran is apparently searching for a deal above the minimum.
Beyond Millsap, the list is subjective, and where each player ranks on each of the 30 NBA teams’ boards likely varies based on need.
Looking for a veteran presence to round out the rotation? Perhaps Avery Bradley or J.J. Redick is higher on your list. Need a wing who can compete for some minutes? Either James Ennis or Rondae Hollis-Jefferson may be your guy. Want someone with some upside on the end of your roster? Still-young prospects, like Frank Ntilikina or Dennis Smith Jr., make sense to take a chance on.
