Seth Curry left the Sixers’ game in the second quarter on Thursday night somewhat mysteriously since the combo guard didn’t get injured during the contest.
“We’re in uncharted waters with all this (COVID stuff). He said he didn’t feel great, and that’s all we needed to hear. We just have to be very careful right now.” Doc Rivers told FortyEightMinutes.com and other media members after the contest.
Curry missed time in January while recovering from COVID-19 and Rivers was asked if Curry is still dealing with complications.
“That could be part of it. He just looks, you know, tired. He’s looked like that for a while. So we just need to be very safe,” the coach said.
The former Blazer and Maverick went 0-for-1 in the 12 minutes he did play against Portland on Thursday. He went scoreless on Wednesday night vs. the Hornets and over his past three games, including tonight, he’s just 3-for-13 from the field.
