Neither Tobias Harris nor Danny Green played in the win over the Thunder, however, there’s nothing to be concerned about with either veteran.
Green has been dealing with a sore hip, though Doc Rivers told FortyEightMinutes and other media members that it’s nothing to worry about. Saturday was Green’s first missed contest for Philadelphia.
Harris was seen limping at times during the loss to New Orleans, though he was able to finish the contest. Rivers reiterated that Harris’ sore knee isn’t serious and he should be back out there against Dallas on Monday (the Sixers are not practicing on Sunday).
More From Philadelphia
- George Hill has yet to make his Sixers’ debut and while there is no timetable for that to happen, he is traveling with the team. The point guard warmed up with the team prior to the game against the Thunder on Saturday. Hill previously told FortyEightMinutes and other members that he hopes to return to the court before the playoffs.
- On Thursday, Hill said that he was “very excited” to be able to come to an organization that’s competing for a championship. Hill had been with OKC for the first portion of the season after spending most of the past two seasons in Milwaukee.
- The Thunder’s starting lineup in the loss to the Sixers was the youngest in NBA history, as Logan Newman of USA Today relays. OKC started Theo Maledon (19), Lu Dort (21), Aleksej Pokusevski (19), Darius Bazley (20), and Moses Brown (21).
- ICYMI: The Sixers added Anthony Tolliver to a 10-day contract. The 35-year-old forward appeared in 22 games last season, splitting time between the Kings and Grizzlies.
