The Sixers are signing Mason Jones to a 10-Day contract and converting Paul Reed’s two-way deal to a standard one. Justin Grasso of Sports Illustrated was the first to report the news.
Reed’s ascension makes sense for Philadelphia, given they traded away Tony Bradley at the trade deadline.
Jones, who went undrafted out of Arkansas, won’t be bound by the same restrictions that a normal two-way player would be, as the NBA is allowing players on those contracts to remain with the team throughout the season.
