The Sixers controlled the game against the Bulls from start to finish, winning in Chicago by a score of 127-90. The entire team played well and Joel Embiid — watching from home — was impressed with his fellow center Tony Bradley.
Doc Rivers, who gave out praise to several players in his post-game zoom, was asked about Embiid’s in-game tweet and what it meant that the franchise’s star player is at home watching and cheering on his teammates.
“Number one, he better be watching the games. Him and Ben because that’s their jobs,” Rivers told FortyEightMinutes and other media after the game.
Embiid is set to return on Friday as the team heads to Washington. Ben Simmons won’t play in the contest as he’ll continue to quarantine and Philly might catch a break, as Bradley Beal is questionable with left knee soreness.
