The Philadelphia 76ers have officially waived guard/forward Ignas Brazdeikis, the team announced in a news release.
Brazdeikis, 22, is 6-foot-6 and arrived at the March 25 trade deadline along with George Hill in a three-team, six-player trade with the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder.
A second-round pick out of Michigan in 2019, Brazdeikis did his best work in the G League, 20.9 points and 8.1 rebounds with the Westchester Knicks. Should he go unclaimed on waivers, the Sixers will be responsible for his $1.5 million salary.
