The New York Knicks are continuing to keep their eye on the Victor Oladipo situation with the Houston Rockets, as well as Charlotte Hornets point guard Terry Rozier and New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.
Oladipo may be the most intriguing of the bunch, as he is widely expected to be available ahead of the March 25 trade deadline. He also has an expiring contract.
Oladipo was acquired by the Rockets from the Indiana Pacers in January as part of the James Harden trade, that also involved the Brooklyn Nets.
Ball may make more sense for the Knicks, given that he will be a restricted free agent and Oladipo is said to strongly prefer the Miami Heat as his next destination.
“According to a source who has been in contact with Knicks brass, the franchise still is unsure if the team has a surefire starting point guard,” Berman wrote.
